What You Will Do:

The Hot Section Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated proactive goal oriented and detail-focused project engineer for F135 Nozzle and 3BSM Module. The role of a Project engineer is to support the IPTL for program task execution for hardware while developing leadership skills to become a future IPTL at Pratt & Whitney.

This role will provide opportunities for direct interfacing with engineering management program management suppliers and government customers. The selected candidate will work with a team of individuals to meet requirements and achieve goals.

• Coordinate with IPTL and help lead one or more cross functional teams to meet task and technical requirements
• Identify and addresses project problems and recommends resolutions to ensure the successful completion of projects
• Facilitates project tasks with the various functional organizations to ensure alignment with overall project objectives
• Prepare/present status and technical content to HSE Leadership CIPT and Pratt & Whitney Upper Management
• Initiate and manage hardware procurement/industrial effort as the engineering technical contact
• Coordinate evaluation and disposition of quality non-conformances and supplier requests for information
• Travel up to 10%

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Bachelors degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field and 2 years of engineering experience OR an Advanced degree

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience with nozzle or exhaust design and development
• Demonstrated effectiveness in working across functions organizations and management
• Working proficiency with MS Office Teamcenter SAP MS Project / scheduling software and project management
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance

The salary range for this role is 68900 USD - 131100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
