Are you an experienced HR professional who likes having ownership variety and the ability to make a real impact

Our client is a well-established privately held company looking for an HR/Office Manager to serve as the go-to person for employees and leadership. This is a highly visible hands-on role for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats and wants the autonomy to take ownership of HR while helping create a great employee experience.

Youll oversee the day-to-day HR function from recruiting and employee relations to benefits compliance and engagement while working closely with leadership to improve processes support employees and help the company continue to grow.

HR/Office Manager Responsibilities:

  • Own day-to-day HR operations policies and compliance.
  • Lead full-cycle recruiting hiring and onboarding.
  • Partner with leadership on employee relations performance management coaching and terminations.
  • Manage benefits leave programs workers compensation and unemployment claims.
  • Help create a positive employee experience through company events recognition programs and engagement initiatives.
  • Identify training and development needs and coordinate programs that support employees and managers.
  • Maintain accurate HR records and employee documentation.
  • Manage HRIS systems and identify opportunities to improve processes and automation.
  • Support employment law and benefits compliance requirements.
  • Provide HR guidance and support to employees and leadership.
  • Oversee general office operations and help keep the workplace running smoothly.

HR/Office Manager Qualifications:

  • 5 years of progressive HR experience with the confidence to independently manage a broad HR function.
  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business or related field.
  • PHR SHRM-CP or equivalent certification a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws HR policies and compliance.
  • Excellent communication relationship-building and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Adaptable organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities.
