Job Summary
Provides administrative support to the HR Recruiting Department by processing documents and paperwork for the purposes of credentialing employee documentation license verification and background clearances. Administrative support to facilitate the credentialing process for applicable staff to provide MediCal services.
Hours:
Position is non-exempt/hourly; 36 hours/week M-F. Hours are Monday - Thursday 8:30am - 5pm; Friday 9am - 1pm.
Pay Range: $30.00 - $33.00/hour
As HR Specialist - Credentialing and Records you will:
Assist with coordination of credentialing and recredentialing applications to ensure timely clearance of service providers
Provide individual support to all new hires to facilitate complete and accurate credentialing applications
Track credentialing due dates and processing times to monitor provider compliance communicate delays and identify opportunities for process improvements.
Update credentialing information in HRIS; maintain accurate and complete records for all prescribers and providers including new hires and updating terminated records
Track licensure and registration information for all applicable CRF workforce members; follow up with renewals and document in HRIS
Maintain paper and electronic workforce records by creating new records and updating with ongoing documents in compliance with best practice document management policies
Provide copies of employee records as needed during audits site visits and legal proceedings
Maintains all Form I-9 documents in separate folders as well as updating compliance in HRIS

Requirements:
Education: HS Diploma required; AA or BA/BS strongly preferred
Experience: Minimum 2 years of related experience in Human Resources field preferred.
Additional Qualifications and Skills
- Administrative support experience to include a high level of demonstrated organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
- Strict adherence to concepts and principles of privacy and confidentiality
- Proficient computer skills with intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Word Excel and PowerPoint); prior experience with HR Information systems required. Experience with UKG Ready systems preferred.
