A top-tier acute-care hospital in South Florida is seeking an Onboarding Coordinator to champion their pre-employment this role you will serve as the crucial bridge between a signed offer letter and day one ensuring every new employee and contractor is fully vetted compliant and welcomed seamlessly into the organization.
How Youll Make an Impact
- Drive Full-Cycle Pre-Employment: Manage the clearance journey from initial offer through start date coordinating background investigations reference checks education verifications and drug screenings.
- Oversee Occupational Health Scheduling: Book candidate appointments for pre-employment physicals and health clearances to keep starts on schedule.
- Ensure Regulatory & File Integrity: Build audit and maintain accurate new hire and contractor records to guarantee continuous compliance for state agencies and accreditation reviews (including JCAHO and AHCA).
- Streamline Documentation & Systems: Complete Form I-9s enter personnel details into the HR database pull operational reports and ensure all paperwork is finalized prior to start dates.
- Support Orientation Logistics: Maintain and distribute the New Hire Orientation tracking roster to organizational leadership before each session.
- Facilitate Day-One Readiness: Assist incoming staff with access setup for platforms like Workday and HealthStream while overseeing parking decal compliance initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: Minimum 2 years in Human Resources with a dedicated focus on onboarding and pre-employment workflows.
- Industry Background: Hospital or healthcare industry HR experience is preferred.
- Recruitment Exposure: Hands-on experience supporting recruitment processes is strongly preferred.
- Technical Acumen: Proven experience working with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS); familiarity with Workday and HealthStream is a strong plus.
- Core Competencies: Exceptional attention to detail strong self-direction ability to manage multiple moving parts without drop-off and solid Microsoft Office skills.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related discipline preferred.
