The HR & Office Coordinator supports both human resources functions and daily office operations. This role is responsible for administrative support employee coordination onboarding activities office management HRIS entry and creating a professional and organized workplace environment.Â
The salary range for this position is $26.50 - $28 an hour. Actual pay will be dependent on budget and experience.

Essential Job FunctionsÂ
- Completes and assists with the onboarding and orientation of new hiresÂ
- Helps coordinate and assist with training sessionsÂ
- Leads and coordinates employee relations and community events locally and within the office Â
- Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questionsÂ
- Completes HRIS entry for current employees new hires and terminated employeesÂ
- Trains managers and employees on HRIS systemsÂ
- Completes Forms I-9 verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 filesÂ
- Submits online investigation requests completes employment verifications and assists with new-employee background checksÂ
- Helps maintain the employee portalÂ
- Assists with benefits and wellness fairsÂ
- Processes workers compensation claimsÂ
- Schedules meetings and interviewsÂ
- Makes photocopies; mails scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functionsÂ
- Files documents into appropriate employee filesÂ
- Assists or prepares correspondence shipping needsÂ
- Coordinate meetings calendars and conference room schedulingÂ
- Serve as the main point of contact for vendors parking and office maintenance requestsÂ
- Handle incoming calls mail emails and office correspondenceÂ
- Assist leadership with reports presentations and special projectsÂ
- Orders maintains and restocks office supplies snacks and drinks Â
- Assists executive team in preparing for meetings and events Â
- Ensure the office environment remains professional clean and efficientÂ
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Education and Experience RequirementsÂ
- Bachelors degree and/or equivalent experienceÂ
- At least two years of related experience requiredÂ
- Experience with HRIS or payroll systems Â
- Hospitality corporate or customer service industry experience preferredÂ
Knowledge Skills & AbilitiesÂ
- Excellent verbal and written communication skillsÂ
- Ability to engage with customers in a positive and helpful manner Â
- Ability to manage difficult interactionsÂ
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detailÂ
- Working understanding of human resource principles practices and proceduresÂ
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlinesÂ
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environmentÂ
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareÂ
- Familiarity with company rules regulations and operational standardsÂ
- Ability to identify straightforward issues and propose simple solutionsÂ
- Ability to quickly adapt to changes in processes customer flow environments and tasksÂ
- Ability to be a team player working collaboratively with othersÂ
Additional Information :
Work Environment & Physical Demands
 Ability to stand type and sit at desk/computer for most of the work shift executing repetitive movements
 No adverse or hazardous conditions
 Not required but preferred to be able to occasionally lift push or pull 25 lbs. individually or with assistance
