Job Summary
The Human Resources Department Intern will gain practical hands-on experience supporting the daily operations of a professional Human Resources department within a community behavioral health organization. The internship is designed to provide exposure to the full employee life cycle including recruitment onboarding employee relations performance management training compliance benefits personnel records organization as well as the associated administrative tasks.
The intern will work closely with HR leadership and staff and will have the opportunity to observe how Human Resources policies and employment laws are applied in real-world workplace situations. The intern will be expected to maintain confidentiality demonstrate professionalism and handle employee information appropriately.
This position will report during the course of the workweek defined as Monday-Friday 8a-5p. Hours can be flexible to accommodate class schedule. Rate of pay is $18/hourly.

Requirements:
- Current college enrollment working toward degree in field or equivalent with documented work or practicum experience
- Knowledge of technical management information analysis and hardware/software systems and communication technology
- Strong analytical skills with ability to manage projects and prioritize work
- Valid Ohio drivers license automobile and good driving record are required; and
- Pre-employment criminal background check and drug testing are mandatory
