The Role: HR Generalist
The Company: Private Equity
Location: San Francisco (onsite 4x a week)
Compensation: $115k - $120k base

A dynamic fast-growing private equity firm is seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join its People team. While established in size the company maintains the energy agility and entrepreneurial spirit of a startup making this an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building processes supporting employees and driving operational excellence.

This role offers broad exposure across the employee lifecycle and will play a key role in creating a seamless employee experience while ensuring compliance process efficiency and organizational growth.


What Youll Do:
  • Design and manage onboarding programs that set employees up for success from day one
  • Support the full employee lifecycle including onboarding benefits administration employee relations and offboarding
  • Maintain accurate employee data and records across HR systems including Greenhouse and Culture Amp
  • Optimize People Operations processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency scalability and employee experience
  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local labor laws and employment regulations
  • Administer and support employee health and wellness benefits programs
  • Generate reports and maintain data integrity across systems and platforms
  • Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers providing responsive white-glove support
  • Partner cross-functionally to support people initiatives policies and programs as the organization continues to grow
Qualifications:
  • Experience as an HR Generalist People Operations Generalist or similar human resources role
  • Strong understanding of employment law HR best practices and benefits administration
  • Experience working with HRIS ATS and employee engagement platforms; familiarity with Greenhouse and Culture Amp is highly preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to synthesize information analyze processes and implement improvements
