Job Summary
HR Generalist
Hybrid (three days onsite)
$65K to $78K
- Process weekly and semi-monthly payroll including report coordination with Accounting and resolution of payroll-related inquiries.
- Support HRIS administration system improvements process enhancements and accurate maintenance of employee data and records.
- Support full-cycle recruitment and onboarding including job needs assessments sourcing screening interviewing offers new hire paperwork orientation and cross-functional coordination.
- Manage employee benefit programs process benefit changes and coordinate monthly benefits billing.
- Respond to employee questions regarding payroll benefits HR policies and procedures.
- Support employee relations leave administration and compliance with federal state and local employment laws and company policies.
- Coordinate employee engagement recognition DE&I and other HR programs and initiatives.
- Assist with training and development programs.
- Administer HR policies employee acknowledgements employment verifications and other HR documentation.
- Provide HR administrative support for special projects meetings and other organizational needs.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

- Bachelors degree in human resources or related field; or equivalent relevant experience
- HR certification (e.g. SHRM-CP or PHR) is a plus
- 3 years of experience in human resources or a related administrative role
- Practiced knowledge of HR principles labor laws and best practices
- Experience with HRIS platforms
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Experience with payroll practices and administering employee benefits
- High initiative to improve processes and centralize data
- Strong integrity ethics and cultural awareness
- Proactive organized accurate and eye for detail
- Outstanding relationship-building skills coupled with a high degree of responsiveness
- Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
- Professional flexible and positive team player
- Payroll is processed accurately and on time each cycle with minimal correction requests
- New hires complete onboarding on schedule and report a smooth well-coordinated start
- Open requisitions are filled within target timelines with qualified well-screened candidates
- Employee records and HRIS data stay accurate complete and audit-ready at all times
- Benefits billing and changes are processed correctly with no missed deadlines
- Employees and leadership see HR as responsive approachable and reliable for questions and issues
- Compliance deadlines (policy acknowledgements leave administration regulatory filings) are consistently met
