HR Coordinator

The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department ensuring efficient execution of HR processes and programs. This role assists with recruitment onboarding employee records management benefits administration and compliance activities. The HR Coordinator serves as a key point of contact for employees helping to answer HR-related questions and maintain a positive employee experience.

HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY

• AssistwithHRadministrativetasksincludingmaintainingemployeerecordsprocessingpaperworkandmanagingHRdatabases.
• PrepareHR-relateddocumentssuchasemploymentcontractsofferlettersandterminationletters.
• Supportthecoordinationof HRprogramsandinitiativesincludingemployeeengagementactivities trainingsessionsandperformanceevaluations.
• RespondtoemployeeinquiriesandprovideguidanceonHRpoliciesandprocedures.
• Overseethegaminglicenseprogramforemployeesensuringcompliancewithgamingindustryregulations.
• Liaisewithregulatoryagenciestoaddresslicensinginquiriesandensuretimelyprocessingofapplications.
• Assistwiththeonboardingprocessfornewhiresincludingcoordinatingbackgroundchecksdrugscreeningsandreferencechecks.
• Ensureallrequiredpaperworkiscompletedaccuratelyandinatimelymanner.
• Conductorientationsessionsfornewemployeesprovidingthemwithnecessaryinformationandmaterials.
• Supporttheoffboardingprocessbyhandlingexitinterviewscollectingcompanypropertyandupdatingemployeerecords.
• MaintainandupdateHRdatabasesandsystemsensuringdataaccuracyandconfidentiality.
• AssistwithHRIS dataentryincludingnewhiresterminationsandemployeechanges.
• StayupdatedonemploymentlawsandregulationsensuringcomplianceinHRpractices.
• AssistwithHRauditsandcompliancechecks.
• Additional duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• BachelorsdegreeinHumanResourcesBusinessAdministrationorarelatedfieldispreferred.
• Minimumof 2yearsofexperienceinHRadministrationorasimilarrole.
• Familiaritywithgamingindustryregulationsandlicensingprocessesishighlydesirable.
• Strongorganizationalskillsandattentiontodetail.
• ProficientinHRIS systemsandMS OfficeSuite.
• Excellentverbalandwrittencommunicationskills.
• Abilitytohandlesensitiveandconfidentialinformation.
• Strongproblem-solvingandtimemanagementabilities.
• Abilitytoworkindependentlyandcollaborativelyina .
• Mustbeabletoobtainandmaintaina VirginiaLotteryGamingLicense.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

• Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays as needed.

Wage Range - $18.00-$21.00/hr
