Youll take ownership of the day-to-day administration of payroll and benefits across our locations in Ohio Alabama and Florida while also working alongside the rest of our HR team on the broader coworker experience.

What Youll Be Doing
Payroll
- Coordinate and process full-cycle payroll for hourly and salaried coworkers across Ohio Alabama and Florida.
- Review timekeeping wage adjustments bonuses deductions garnishments and other payroll changes for accuracy.
- Help ensure federal state and local taxes are withheld and remitted correctly.
- Reconcile payroll and support quarter-end and year-end activities including W-2s and tax filings.
- Research and resolve payroll questions or discrepancies quickly and accurately.
- Partner with Finance and other teams as needed to keep payroll processes running smoothly.

- Administer COBRA and benefit continuation requirements.
- Reconcile monthly benefit invoices.
- Help coworkers understand their benefits eligibility and available resources.

What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources Business Administration or a related field preferred.
- 3 years of HR generalist experience with direct responsibility for benefits & payroll.
- Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
- Experience using HRIS and timekeeping systems (Paylocity experience is a plus).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust at all levels.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
- HR certification (PHR SHRM-CP) is a plus but not required.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation including maintaining regular and punctual attendance.
