As we continue to expand we are seeking a highly organized and dependable HR Administrative Assistant to join our remote operations team.

Position Overview

The HR Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative support to the human resources function and assisting with routine employee and recruiting-related activities. This role helps maintain accurate employee records coordinate interviews and onboarding activities organize HR documentation and support day-to-day administrative processes.

The ideal candidate is professional organized detail-oriented and comfortable handling confidential employee information. Strong communication skills discretion accuracy and the ability to manage multiple administrative priorities are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the human resources team
  • Maintain and update employee records and HR information accurately
  • Assist with employee onboarding and offboarding administrative activities
  • Coordinate interviews meetings and other HR-related appointments
  • Communicate with candidates and employees regarding routine administrative matters
  • Assist with preparing employment-related documents and correspondence
  • Organize and maintain electronic HR files and documentation
  • Enter and update employee information in HR systems and databases
  • Assist with tracking employee information required documentation and administrative deadlines
  • Support recruiting activities by coordinating interview schedules and candidate communications
  • Assist with preparing onboarding materials and coordinating new-hire documentation
  • Respond to routine HR inquiries and direct more complex matters to the appropriate HR team member
  • Assist with maintaining employee contact information and other personnel records
  • Prepare basic reports spreadsheets and administrative summaries as requested
  • Coordinate with managers and internal departments regarding routine HR administrative requests
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee candidate payroll and company information
  • Follow company policies and applicable procedures for handling personnel information
  • Assist with HR projects process improvements and administrative initiatives
  • Meet established accuracy productivity and response-time expectations
  • Assist with other HR and administrative responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in human resources administrative support recruiting coordination office administration or a related field preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Professional and dependable approach to work
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
  • Comfortable using computers email spreadsheets and web-based applications
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks priorities and deadlines
  • Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Reliable internet connection and appropriate workspace for remote work
  • Experience with HRIS applicant tracking systems payroll systems or recruiting platforms is a plus
  • Experience supporting employee onboarding or recruiting administration is a plus
  • Experience in utility services property management billing or operations is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional HR or business education is a plus

Salary

$25.00$34.00 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
