Job Summary
- Position Summary
- Temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in Housing & Residential Life.
- Start Date
- Positionavailable on or after October 5 2026and ending on or before May 31 2027. Possibility of reappointment based on budget department needs and job performance.
- Job Description/Duties
- Duties include but are not limited to:
- Assist with routine grounds and landscaping such as planting digging raking leaves edging blowing and debris cleanup and pressure washing walkways;
- Assist with carpet and upholstery cleaning and stripping and waxing vinyl flooring;
- Collect trash and recyclables on a routine basis;
- Organize supply closets for grounds keeping equipment;
- Assist department staff with general housekeeping such as vacuuming dusting cleaning surfaces and appliances and sanitation of common areas in the community;
- Assist with various housing events and conferencing such as move-in move-out or other events that need additional support;
- Other duties as assigned.
- Qualifications
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Must be available to work Monday-Sunday between the hours of 6:00a.m. - 2:30p.m.
Required Qualifications:- Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
- Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units.
- Salary Range
- $16.90per hour.
