Convention Center Housekeeping PT Evening Shift Team

Are you someone who takes pride in creating clean comfortable and welcoming environments Our team is looking for dedicated Housekeepers to join us in our mission to maintain the beauty and functionality of our event center. As a key member of the Operations Department youll have the opportunity to showcase your general housekeeping cleaning equipment handling and leadership skills. TYPICAL WORK ROUTINE INCLUDES BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Extensive walking throughout the facility and facility grounds.
• Completion of tasks and daily assignments as assigned cooperatively.
• Perform general manual labor associated with set-up custodial maintenance or housekeeping functions.
• Maintain the public image of the Operations Department at all times when in the service of The Classic Center.
• Maintain an irregular work schedule as required by the Operations Manager for events within The Classic Center.

QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Must have evening and weekend availability
2. Ability to demonstrate basic cleaning techniques
3. Ability to perform manual tasks requiring physical strength and perform reasonably heavy labor
4. Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions accurately
5. Related training and experience that offers a further understanding of custodial and housekeeping techniques is desirable
6. Ability and desire to work in a team environment and under the direction of a shift lead or manager on duty

The candidate who is selected for this position will have to successfully pass a drug screening and a criminal background check.
