Housekeeping Laundry Assistant

NHC HealthCare Anniston is seeking a dependable Housekeeping/Laundry team member. This position supports both environmental cleanliness and linen services helping create a clean comfortable and welcoming environment for patients residents families visitors and partners.

• Clean and sanitize patient and resident rooms common areas offices restrooms and other assigned spaces.
• Dust sweep mop vacuum empty trash and complete other routine housekeeping duties.
• Collect sort wash dry fold and distribute linens and clothing.
• Maintain proper separation of clean and soiled laundry.
• Operate housekeeping and laundry equipment safely.
• Restock supplies and help maintain clean organized work areas.
• Follow infection control sanitation safety and NHC procedures.
• Report maintenance equipment or safety concerns to the appropriate leader.

• Dependable hardworking and able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to follow housekeeping laundry sanitation and infection control procedures.
• Previous housekeeping laundry or health care experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position.
