Housekeeping Staff

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Staff member to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of our building spaces ensuring a pleasant and hygienic environment for both customers and staff.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks such as sweeping mopping dusting and vacuuming.
• Ensure all areas including sales floors common areas restrooms and stockrooms are clean and tidy.
• Replenish supplies in restrooms such as soap toilet paper and paper towels.
• Handle the disposal of trash and recycling materials.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team.
• Assist in setting up events or rearranging furniture as needed.
• Follow all health and safety regulations.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Proven experience in housekeeping or a similar role.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in providing a clean environment.
• Good communication skills and a friendly positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work in shifts including weekends and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift carry and move heavy items including housekeeping carts cleaning supplies and furniture weighing up to specify weight e.g. 50 pounds

Prolonged periods of standing walking and moving throughout the facility

Ability to perform repetitive cleaning tasks with precision and efficiency

Manual dexterity good vision and hand-eye coordination for using cleaning tools and equipment

Ability to bend stoop kneel and reach to clean various surfaces and areas

Strong physical stamina to handle the demands of a fast-paced work environment

Ability to work in various conditions including exposure to cleaning chemicals and dusty environments
