We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean safe and comfortable environment for our residents visitors and staff. This role plays an important part in supporting resident well-being infection prevention and overall facility cleanliness.
- Maintain all public and common areas including lobbies restrooms drinking fountains and floors
- Clean and sanitize resident rooms and bathrooms
- Ensure handrails are clean and free of debris
- Clean walls mirrors windows light fixtures towel bars and dispensers
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Sweep mop dust and sanitize assigned areas
- Follow all safety procedures including the use of caution signage and proper chemical storage
- Operate housekeeping equipment and cleaning supplies safely and effectively
- Maintain housekeeping carts equipment and storage areas in a clean organized and sanitary manner
- Report resident safety concerns promptly to the Director of Housekeeping Administrator or Director of Nursing
- Notify the Director of Housekeeping when supplies need replenishment
- Provide excellent customer service to residents families and visitors
- Work independently and collaboratively to maintain facility cleanliness standards
- High school diploma or GED required
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Long-term care or healthcare housekeeping experience is a plus
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and strong customer service skills
- Reliable and dependable work ethic
