Job Summary
Job Summary: As a Housekeeping Team Member at Schahet Hotels in Indianapolis Indiana you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of guest rooms and public areas. This position is a full-time individual contributor role within the hospitality/restaurant industry offering a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain guest rooms and public areas according to hotel standards including vacuuming dusting changing linens and cleaning bathrooms
- Stock and replace guest room amenities such as towels and toiletries
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management
- Respond to guest requests for additional amenities or services in a timely and efficient manner
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe work environment
- Perform regular deep cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need to be ordered
- Assist in the training and supervision of new housekeeping team members
- Provide excellent customer service to guests and respond to any inquiries or concerns in a friendly and professional manner
- Attend required meetings and training sessions as directed by management
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects such as furniture and equipment and stand for extended periods of time
