Hourly Childcare Worker

POSITION TITLE: HourlyChildcare Worker

FLSA: Non-Exempt

REPORTS TO:Director of Adult Education

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 8:30 - 12:30 Mondays Tuesdays and Thursdays. 5:00 - 8 Mondays and Wednesdays.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Possess good communication skills.
• Experience working withchildren preferred.
• Highly self motivated.

**This is a grant-funded position through the Adult Education Section of the Division of Workforce Services.**

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Maintain emotional control under stress.

• Childcare provider.

• Keeping accurate records providing supervision for children and ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.

• Other duties as assigned by administration.

OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS

• Must have the ability to lift at least 40 pounds occasionally.
