JOB DESCRIPTION:
As a Maintenance Engineer you will be responsible for general maintenance and repairs in guest suites meeting spaces the restaurant and common areas. You will also handle repairs on mechanical electrical plumbing kitchen and laundry equipment ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform general maintenance and repairs in guest suites meeting spaces the restaurant swimming pool and common areas.
- Conduct repairs on mechanical systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
- Handle electrical repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Address plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Maintain and repair kitchen equipment to ensure it operates efficiently.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on laundry equipment.
- Heating/air conditioning (HVAC) ventilation
- Conduct regular preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
REQUIREMENTS:
- One-year related experience orequivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with electrical and mechanical systems required.
- Valid Drivers License required.
- Experience with hotel building maintenance or Certification in Building Maintenance preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from groups of managers coworkers vendors and customers.
- Availability on weekends and holidays.

- Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Able to bend stoop walk and climb ladders
