Hotel Maintenance Engineer

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in guest suites meeting spaces the restaurant swimming pool and common areas.
• Conduct repairs on mechanical systems to ensure they are functioning properly.
• Handle electrical repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Address plumbing issues and perform necessary repairs.
• Maintain and repair kitchen equipment to ensure it operates efficiently.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on laundry equipment.
• Heating/air conditioning (HVAC) ventilation
• Conduct regular preventive maintenance to avoid breakdowns and ensure smooth operations.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and standards.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and staff.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.

REQUIREMENTS:

• One-year related experience orequivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical systems required.
• Valid Drivers License required.
• Experience with hotel building maintenance or Certification in Building Maintenance preferred.
• Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from groups of managers coworkers vendors and customers.
• Availability on weekends and holidays.
• Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from groups of managers coworkers vendors and customers.
• Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Able to bend stoop walk and climb ladders
