Job Summary
- Clean guest rooms hallways restrooms and public areas in accordance with hotel standards.
- Wash walls and ceilings; move furniture and turn mattresses as needed.
- Sweep mop scrub wax and polish floors.
- Dust and polish fixtures furniture and metal surfaces.
- Collect and transport soiled linens to designated laundry areas.
- Receive and distribute clean linen supplies from laundry chutes or storage areas.
- Maintain and organize housekeeping carts and storage areas.
- Remove trash and debris collected by room attendants and from public spaces.
- Conduct floor checks at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure cleanliness and readiness.
- Deliver guest-requested items such as towels cribs cots and amenities promptly.
- Perform room attendant duties when necessary to support operations.
- Assist with heavy lifting and deep cleaning projects including seasonal/spring cleaning.
- Clean pool areas and service areas following established procedures.
- Follow all departmental standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
- Respond to guests and team members in a friendly professional and timely manner.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by supervisors.
- Report to work in proper uniform in accordance with hotel dress code policy.
- Work independently while maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members; support team goals.
- Safely lift carry push and pull objects up to 25 pounds without assistance.
