Hotel Houseman

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Houseman to support the housekeeping team at a busy hotel. This position plays an important role in keeping guest areas hallways common spaces and housekeeping operations clean organized and fully stocked.

The ideal candidate is reliable physically capable team-oriented and willing to assist wherever needed to help maintain a clean and welcoming hotel environment.

• Assist housekeeping staff with daily cleaning and room turnover needs
  

• Deliver linens towels toiletries and other supplies to guest rooms and housekeeping areas
  

• Remove trash dirty linens and other materials from guest floors
  

• Maintain cleanliness of hallways stairwells elevators lobbies and other common areas
  

• Vacuum sweep mop and clean designated hotel areas
  

• Restock housekeeping carts supply rooms and linen closets
  

• Assist with moving furniture mattresses or other hotel items as needed
  

• Respond to guest and housekeeping requests in a professional and timely manner
  

• Report maintenance concerns damaged items or safety hazards to management
  

• Follow hotel cleanliness sanitation and safety procedures
  

• Assist with additional housekeeping or hotel duties as assigned
  

• Previous hotel housekeeping janitorial maintenance or general labor experience is preferred but not required
  

• Must be dependable and have reliable attendance
  

• Ability to stand walk bend push pull and lift throughout the shift
  

• Ability to lift approximately 2550 pounds as needed
  

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced hotel environment
  

• Strong work ethic and attention to detail
  

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  

• Professional attitude when interacting with guests and coworkers
  

• Ability to work weekends and holidays when scheduled
