The Host/Hostess is responsible for creating a warm and welcoming first impression for guests. This role manages seating waitlists guest flow and communication with servers to ensure an efficient and enjoyable dining experience.JOB DESCRIPTION

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
- Customer service experience strongly preferred.
Skills and Knowledge
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and guest-flow management abilities.
- Professional appearance and friendly demeanor.
- Basic knowledge of reservation systems and POS platforms preferred.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and create a positive first impression.
- Manage reservations waitlists and seating charts to maximize service flow.
- Escort guests to tables and communicate server sections effectively.
- Answer phones take messages and provide basic restaurant information.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
- Assist with menus to-go orders and guest requests as needed.
- Monitor dining room activity and communicate with servers and management.
- Follow company policies safety standards and service procedures.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
