Position Overview:

At HealthSource Saginaw were seeking a Hospital Program Educator who will play a key role in strengthening staff development supporting program-level training initiatives and leading the next generation of healthcare this role youll deliver engaging training provide hands-on coaching and ensure that program-specific education remains effective consistent and aligned with organizational goals.

What Youll Do:
Education Training & Staff Development:
- Design develop and deliver engaging training education and coaching tailored to the unique needs of the programs patient/resident population.
- Lead program-specific new hire orientation annual competencies and ongoing training.
- Serve as the primary educator for program topics during new hire orientation annual competency events SECURE training and electronic medical record (EMR) education.
- Maintain accurate training records in the learning management system (LMS/Relias) and ensure compliance with internal and regulatory standards
Onboarding & Coaching:
- Assist with onboarding training for new hires including assigning partners monitoring progress and providing hands-on coaching on the units.
- Support onboarding for medical students interns and other clinical learners.
- Assist with BLS/CPR training and serve as a backup educator for facility-wide learning events.
Collaboration & Leadership:
- Partner with the Facility Educator and leadership to assess update and deploy annual training and competency plans.
- Participate in nursing leadership forums safety committees and quality initiatives.
- Build strong relationships across departments to support education safety efficiency and exceptional patient/resident care.
What Were Looking For:
Required:
- Bachelors or equivalent advanced degree of an accredited nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Michigan
- Current BLS/CPR certification (onsite training available if needed).
- 3-5 years of demonstrated expertise in clinical practice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and Power Point.
- Knowledge of adult learning principles and the teaching/learning process.
Preferred:
- Masters Degree in Nursing or equivalent advanced degree.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with prior experience in education role.
- Experience in one or more of the following clinical areas: Medical Rehabilitation or Behavioral Medicine.
