Hose Coil Pressure Test Operator (PAF)

You will ensure hose products meet specifications by operating coiling and pressure-test equipment and performing inspections. You will work on 2nd shift (3:30 PM 11:30 PM) onsite with the team and report to the Value Stream Team Leader; the role requires flexibility for mandatory overtime and close collaboration with maintenance and quality.

• Coil hoses to specification: verify part numbers hose size job numbers dimensions tag colors and take-up reel diameter
• Inspect hose for defects (broken wires kinks bony hose missing wires) and remove nonconforming sections; record attributes and scrap on inspection sheets
• Operate and set up pressure test equipment (proof and/or impact modes): configure jaws mandrels prefill cycle time and purge; record PSI on tags
• Prepare label and place tested hose in quality inspection area; cut burst and periodic samples as required
• Maintain a clean orderly work area and follow 5S safety regulations and quality guidelines
• Report production and equipment issues to the Direct Lead and work with maintenance to resolve problems

• High school diploma or GED required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform regular lifting pushing pulling reaching bending twisting and squatting
• Basic computer skills and ability to read/record inspection data
• Strong attention to detail and continuous mental/visual/audio alertness to monitor machine sounds and product quality
• Good verbal and interpersonal communication and decision-making skills
• Willingness to complete on-the-job training (18 weeks up to 10 weeks if needed)

• Prior production or manufacturing experience
• Comfort working in high-noise environments and using required safety equipment (steel-toe shoes eye and hearing protection)

$16.60 - $20.75/hour
