This position reports to:
Engineering Manager IYour role and responsibilities
Working as a Project Engineer you will be the technical lead and/or design authority for Process Automation engineering projects in Renewable Oil & Gas Chemical Power Generation Water treatment industries both in US and Global projects providing technical details costs and deliverables for sales proposals.
In this role you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.
The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid in our Cleveland OH office.
This role is contributing to the Automation Energy Industries operations in the US.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Working closely with customers to shape and deliver solutions and utilizing feedback to drive delivery of improvements for small to medium complex
Developing and reviewing standard processes tools and techniques while ensuring that engineering activities comply with safety regulations and contractual requirements
Creating and delivering the work plan and budget as well as risk assessments relevant to your engineering discipline
Supporting contract managers in issuing claims related to changes in project scope including assessing cost and time impacts as well as risk
Helping customers resolve technical issues both remotely and at customer sites US and possible Global projects
Developing your management and communication skills by coaching entry-level engineers technicians and support teams
Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project
Ability and willingness to travel approximately up to 25% of the time

Qualifications for the role
Bachelors degree in Chemical Mechanical Electrical or Computer Science or other engineering degree
2-5 years of experience in engineering working as an Engineer with Distributed Control Systems
Sound knowledge of engineering techniques processes and tools
A strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines
A high level of self-motivation curiosity and desire to learn about new
A collaborative solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills
Candidates must be able to read write and speak English fluently
Must be a US citizen or permanent resident of USA; applicants must possess a permanent work authorization for the United States

This position is expected to pay between $65100 and $104160 annually.
