Position: Hindi Audio Generalist Evaluator Expert (San Francisco Bay Area)
Type: Contract
Compensation: $50/hour
Location: San Francisco Bay Area
Commitment: 1020 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

• Transcribe and optimize audio and video content in Hindi ensuring clarity and accuracy.
• Produce high-quality written outputs in Hindi with supporting work in English.
• Establish and document evaluation standards for general consumer audio contexts.
• Conduct model testing and grading evaluating responses for accuracy and fluency.
• Support benchmarking and quality assurance to maintain consistency and reliability.
• Collaborate with project leads to resolve ambiguities and improve task design.

Qualifications

Must-Have

• Strong writing editing and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Native or near-native fluency in Hindi and professional fluency in English.
• Strong familiarity with spoken Hindi regional vocabulary and dialects.
• Ability to transcribe and analyze Hindi audio content accurately.
• Must be based in the San Francisco Bay Area.
• Available to commit 1020 hours per week.

Preferred

• College students or recent graduates.
• Background in linguistics humanities social sciences journalism or technical disciplines.
• Prior experience with transcription annotation or evaluation workflows in Hindi.
• Familiarity with Hindi-English code-switching and regional language variation.
• Interest in AI language models or applied research environments.
