Job Summary
Summary/Objective
The Account Manager position plans directs and coordinates activities relating to the protection safeguarding and security of HFC Properties employees invitees and others; ensures that established goals and objectives are accomplished with prescribed priorities time limitations and with fiscal responsibilities; advises makes recommendations assists in the formulation of goals and objectives; designs implements and monitors security policies procedures and programs; complies with federal state and local legal regulations; and exercises independent judgment in the course of carrying out overall responsibilities and other activities as assigned.

1. Plans examines analyzes evaluates and supervises client security operations inclusive of physical security assets and security personnel.
2. Prepares reports and records for management team.
3. Evaluates current procedures practices and precedents for accomplishing client Corporation activities and functions relative to security.
4. Identifies and resolves security related problems.
5. Develops and implements alternative methods for security operation improvement.
6. Coordinates activities within security area.
7. Prepares periodic budget estimate and reports.
8. Orders supplies and equipment as needed.
9. Reviews financial reports to ensure security operation efficiency and quality control.
10. Prepares security training and operational KPI reports.
11. Develops preventative security programs including the supervision of security personnel.
12. Performs audits of security related performance and conducts physical surveys of premise security including security equipment condition.
13. Conducts supervises and prepares reports relating to internal investigations of any losses or violations of client Corporation regulations policies and procedures.
14. Assists in Development implements and manages security training.
15. Assists in preparation of emergency management and contingency planning.
16. Serves as client facilities liaison with public law enforcement fire and other agencies as it relates to security at client facilities and/or client facility personnel.
17. Performs arranges and supervises executive protection.
18. Directs and coordinates through subordinate and/or contract personnel client facilities activities and security functions utilizing knowledge of established policies procedures and practices.
19. Initiates personnel actions such as recruitment selections transfers promotions and discipline or dismissal measures.
20. Resolve work grievances or submit unsettled grievances to the Regional Director of Operations General Manager and Human Resources.
21. Prepares work schedules; assigns or delegates responsibilities.
22. Provides work directives for subordinates.
23. Sets deadlines to ensure completion of operational security functions.
24. Interprets and disseminates client facilities policy to subordinate personnel; and evaluates employee performance.
25. Performs other activities as assigned.

Work Environment
This job operates in an office environment as well as periodical rounds throughout the facilities grounds and worksites. This role also routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines.

This job also requires long or late hours also to include extended periods of time walking the facilities.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time salaried Director position and typical work hours and days could range from Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. This position regularly requires long hours and frequent weekend work. Duties and/or hours could flow over into periodical nights and weekends if the client requests and or the job shows the need.

Required Education/Experience/Certifications
1. Bachelors degree in business administration criminal justice law enforcement security or a closely related field or equivalent number of years of experience and/or 10 years full-time experience performing supervisory responsibilities or highly responsible work relating to tasks assigned to this position or any combination of education and experience provided the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
2. Level 3 or higher Texas PSB security licensing
3. CPR/First Aid certified.
4. Law enforcement security and or military experience.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
1. Possession of a valid motor vehicle license and willingness to operate motor vehicles in the course of employment.
2. Possession of current level 3 or higher state of Texas security license.
3. Any professionally recognized certifications in the security related field.
4. Ability to obtain FEMA Certification in 100b 200b 700a 800b 901 and IAVM/ASIS Training Crowd Manager within 1 year of employment.
