Qualification:

• Valid Michigan Teaching certificate with NS (English as a Second Language) endorsement preferred.
• Valid Michigan Teaching certificate with educational plans to obtain NS endorsement within 5 years required.
• Must be Highly Qualified to teach English as a Second Language.
• Experience working with diverse student populations preferred.
• Interest in working in supplemental athletics and/or academic activities preferred.
• Ability to read write and communicate effectively in English to perform essential job duties including but not limited to understanding and following safety instructions responding appropriately to emergency situations completing documentation and interacting with English-speaking staff students community and supervisors.
