Seasons: Fall and Winter Athletics

Compensation: Stipend of $1275 to $2125 per season depending on previous cheer coach experience. (Stipend amount may be prorated according to coaches availability to fulfill season commitment.)

JOB DESCRIPTION

RESPONSIBILITIES: Coach a team of student cheer leaders to represent the school at athletic competitions and assemblies. Attend all home varsity football and basketball games and one away football and 2 away basketball games with the cheer the event that teams advance beyond regular season play cheer will attend those games as well. Provide instruction that will lead to the pride of accomplishment self-discipline self-confidence and good sportsmanship. Ability to work with a team and communicate with supervisor administrators staff students and community members in a positive manner. Work with team during the summer on fundraising team building and choreography. Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: Knowledge of high school cheerleading practices and WIAA rules.; Previous cheer coaching experience (preferred but not required); CPR and First Aid Certification (or ability to obtain prior to season); Must be at least 21 years of age; Successful completion of WIAA online rules clinic and concussion training upon employment; Demonstrated enthusiasm flexibility and a commitment to students
