Heavy Equipment Operator

FieldBridge is looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator in Belle Fourche SD. We offer weekly pay benefits.

Pay Rate & Schedule:
$26.00$28.00/hour DOE MondayFriday day shift 40 hrs base Weekly pay every Friday Overtime opportunities as business demand requires At $28/hr and 60 hrs/week for example earn weekly paychecks of $1960 gross.

Position Overview:
We are seeking dependable Heavy Equipment Operators to perform daily earthmoving work at a mineral processing site. Under direct supervision you will operate mining equipment safely and productively while supporting overburden handling and ore/soil segregation. This is a great opportunity for a team player who is eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate Caterpillar scrapers dozers and motor graders for daily earthmoving
• Handle overburden and properly segregate ore and soil
• Operate dozers and loaders in stockpile settings
• Apply working knowledge of hydraulic principles to operate equipment efficiently
• Follow all site safety rules and procedures including required PPE

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years of experience operating Caterpillar 637 scrapers D9 dozers and 140 motor graders in a mine setting OR general experience operating Caterpillar D8 dozers and 980 loaders in a stockpile setting
• Working knowledge of overburden handling and ore/soil segregation
• General knowledge of hydraulic principles
• Commitment to safe productive equipment operation
• Dependable with a willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• Ability to pass background check drug screening and MVR review
