Were looking for critical thinkers who would like to play a key role qualifying critical software and the frameworks that support it during all stages of software development. We practice nimble fast-paced development that relies heavily on a tight relationship between Development Project Management and QA.

As a Test Automation Engineer youll have the opportunity to have a direct hand in crafting the next advancements in Apples health software ecosystem. We work on the Health appa platform for Health and Fitness efforts across Appleas well as the Research App and related features and experiences that broaden the definition of what our platform can do. You will work with experienced engineers designers and medical experts to qualify and refine features that delight users as well as form a solid technical foundation for future this position you will need to be self-directed creative and comfortable with change and ambiguity. Strong technical and interpersonal skills are all essential.

Developing and maintaining automated test suites for validating Health-related applicationsnMonitoring CI performance test result analysis as well as test triage and reportingnResponding to changes issues and unexpected blockers and owning the solutionnBeing a strong advocate for quality in the overall software development processnMaintaining a qualitative high level understanding of your areas of responsibilitynInvestigating and debugging on Unix based systems to triage difficult problems and work towards resolutionsnCollaborating with the development team on the implementation of health features from an automation perspective

Proficient programming knowledge in Swift Objective-C or similar architected object oriented programming and software design skillsnIndependent thinker with the ability to proactively triage investigate and debug difficult technical and UX problems autonomously as well as collaborativelynExcellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate close interaction with development teams management and other organizations within ApplenPassion for quality assurance in software including developing extending and maintaining test plans methodologies as well as automation librariesnBachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or equivalent experience

2 years of experience in automated Software Quality AssurancenExperience writing production-ready automated UI and non-UI testsnCreative problem solver with a knack for building scalable solutions in a collaborative and cross-functional spacenAbility to proactively triage investigate and debug difficult technical and UX problems independently as well as collaborativelynExcellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate close interaction with development teams management and other organizations within ApplenPrevious work with regulated medical devicesnExperience with Xcode Xcode Cloud and XCTest/XCUITestnA passion for health and health-related technology
