Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our Health Services team in a dynamic high-volume operational environment. This role is ideal for a registered nurse with experience in occupational health employee health workplace injury management and clinical care who is passionate about supporting Team Member health safety and operational readiness.

The Occupational Health Nurse is responsible for providing occupational health nursing services workplace injury evaluation and follow-up employee health support and clinical care in a fast-paced operational environment. This role supports Team Member health and safety through injury assessment documentation case follow-up employee health programs and collaboration with EHS Operations Human Resources Risk Management and Workers Compensation partners. The Occupational Health Nurse also assists with on-site medical response needs for Team Members and guests as needed

Responsibilities:
  • Provide occupational health nursing services with a focus on workplace injury evaluation employee health support documentation and follow-up.
  • Perform workplace injury triage assessment documentation escalation and case follow-up in alignment with company procedures.
  • Partner with EHS Operations Human Resources Risk Management and Workers Compensation teams on injury management restricted duty return-to-work and related follow-up.
  • Assist with employee health programs including medical surveillance exposure follow-up vaccination or health screening programs fitness-for-duty support hearing conservation activities and other occupational health initiatives as applicable.
  • Complete occupational health and clinical documentation accurately thoroughly and in a timely manner.
  • Support OSHA or Cal/OSHA recordkeeping exposure response medical surveillance and regulated workplace health program documentation as applicable.
  • Serve as a clinical resource during occupational health encounters Team Member or guest medical incidents and other emergent or non-emergent situations.
  • Identify and communicate injury trends documentation concerns operational issues or opportunities for improvement to Health Services leadership.
  • Support audits investigations training programs readiness activities quality assurance reviews and departmental assigned projects.
  • Promote professionalism accountability safety service excellence teamwork and inclusion.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferably in occupational health employee health workers compensation case management workplace injury management urgent care emergency care or a comparable clinical setting.
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Working knowledge of workplace injury documentation Workers Compensation processes return-to-work coordination and OSHA or Cal/OSHA compliance requirements.
  • Strong clinical judgment documentation skills communication collaboration problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Must be 18 years old or older

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Occupational health-related certification such as CAOHC COHN COHN-S CCM CDMS or similar certification.
  • Experience in occupational health employee health industrial clinic workers compensation case management return-to-work coordination or workplace injury management programs.
  • Experience with OSHA or Cal/OSHA recordkeeping exposure response medical surveillance regulated workplace health programs hearing conservation programs or occupational health compliance activities.
  • Experience supporting healthcare operations in an entertainment venue hospitality environment event medicine setting theme park urgent care emergency care or other high-volume operational environment.
  • Experience conducting documentation audits quality assurance reviews competency assessments or clinical process improvement activities.
  • CPR/BLS Instructor certification.
  • Experience supporting or delivering staff training programs.

Schedule:

  • This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week on a set schedule. Available schedule options may include SundayWednesday or WednesdaySaturday. Candidates must be available to work evenings weekends holidays and varying shift lengths based on operational needs business seasonality and special events.

Pay:

  • $46.90 per hour
