Nichols College an NCAA Division III institution located in Dudley Massachusetts invites applications for the position of Head Womens Lacrosse Coach.
The Head Womens Lacrosse Coach is responsible for leading coaching and managing all aspects of the womens lacrosse program. Working under the direction of the Director of Athletics the head coach provides leadership vision and supervision while supporting the academic athletic and personal development of student-athletes.
- Identify recruit and retain outstanding student-athletes.
- Meet recruiting goals established by the Director of Athletics.
- Plan and conduct practices competitions and other team activities.
- Support the academic success and overall well-being of student-athletes.
- Develop and manage the programs budget equipment and related resources.
- Coordinate the scheduling of practices and contests.
- Provide appropriate contest coverage and fulfill game-day responsibilities.
- Lead fundraising initiatives and alumni engagement efforts.
- Ensure compliance with NCAA conference and Nichols College policies and regulations.
- Attend departmental meetings and CNE meetings as required.
- Obtain and maintain College driving certification.
- Participate actively in the Division of Athletics and the broader campus community.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics.
- Bachelors degree.
- Experience in collegiate athletics.
- Strong understanding of and commitment to the NCAA Division III philosophy.
- Demonstrated knowledge of lacrosse including its technical and strategic components.
- Effective leadership communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with student-athletes colleagues alumni families and other campus constituencies.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with computers and relevant technology.
- Valid drivers license and a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to perform light lifting.
- Availability to work extended and nontraditional hours including evenings and weekends.
- Previous coaching experience.
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid certification.
This is a full-time 12-month salaried position eligible for Nichols Colleges benefits package.
