Job Description

Project/Program:

Health Provider Administration - HPA.

Workers Compensation Board (WCB) has a series of funded modernization initiatives aimed at modernizing its critical technology applications and supporting platforms. The WCB requires assistance with the development support maintenance and enhancement of the Health Provider Administration (HPA) system during the initiatives.

Day-to-day Tasks:

Daily Tasks will include but are not limited to the following:

• Participate in meetings to gather business requirements.
• Conduct and participate in technical design meetings
• Document requirements and solutions
• Create technical specifications based on approved business requirements
• Design code test and implement software modules
• Review code and test results of other programmers
• Create physical database work tables and temporary tables and indexes
• Coordinate and conduct Unit System and Stress testing
• Helpdesk Tickets (Day to Day questions issues and enhancements)

Mandatory Qualifications:

Software Developer

Is involved with all facets of the software development process including the research design programming testing and implementation of computer software.

Expert:

84 months: Candidate is able to provide guidance to large teams and/or has extensive industry experience and is considered at the top of his/her field.

Requested Qualifications:

• 84 months experience writing PowerBuilder Code.
• 48 months experience writing C# / .net code.
• 48 months experience with databases including designing Tables Triggers Stored Procedures and writing SQL.
• 60 months experience with gathering requirements and creating design documents.
• 60 months experience with projects that followed a Project Management methodology.
