Summary
This job is responsible for operating material handling equipment in a safe manner for the purpose of moving locating stacking and counting merchandise.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to transport totes from production lines to the warehouse.
- Load unload high-stack and stage totes of frozen products.
- Accurately enter data and product locations using a hand scanner.
- Read daily order sheets and retrieve appropriate products from the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers at the dock.
- Perform pre-operation maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Charge forklift batteries as needed.
- Balance multiple tasks work under pressure and exercise good judgment.
- Work independently or with minimal supervision.

Ability to safely operate a forklift loading and unloading trucks and high stacking totes.
