The Ocean Community YMCA is looking for an energetic and experienced Gymnastics Coordinator to lead and grow our recreational and competitive gymnastics programs. This position blends hands-on coaching with program leadership staff development safety and family engagementall while creating a positive environment where kids can build skills confidence and a lifelong love of gymnastics.

Location: Westerly-Pawcatuck YMCA Westerly RI

Classification: Full-Time exempt

Salary Range: $45000-$50000 per year

What Youll Do:

• Lead high-quality recreational and competitive gymnastics programming
• Coach and support our competitive Gymnastics Team
• Recruit train schedule and mentor gymnastics staff
• Develop engaging programs that grow participation and retention
• Coordinate meets competitions and special events
• Maintain a safe organized and welcoming gymnastics environment
• Build strong relationships with athletes families and community partners

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 35 years of gymnastics experience
• Working knowledge of gymnastics skills and spotting techniques for beginner intermediate and advanced competitive levels
• Gymnastics safety certification required within 6 months of employment
• CPR AED First Aid and Emergency Oxygen certifications required
• Strong leadership communication and decision-making skills
• Ability to create a positive safe and engaging environment for athletes staff and families
