Gun Drill Machinist 2nd Shift

TheGun Drill Machinist is responsible for setting up operating and maintaining gun-drill machines used in the fabrication of precision medical instruments and implants. This role ensures that all parts meet stringent quality standards through accurate machining inspection and role will be based at our location in Warsaw IN on a 2nd shift Youll Do:Set up operate and maintain gun-drill machines fixtures and jigs to ensure efficient precise and consistent and interpret blueprints inspection checklists and written instructions to perform machining tasks precision measuring tools including calipers micrometers and height gauges to verify product dimensions and deburring operations to maintain product quality and compliance with manufacturing straightening operations and light Swiss machining tasks as machine settings replace or sharpen tools and make other modifications to meet production and quality record labor and production data using the ERP system ensuring traceability and process and ability to cross-train in other machining areas as business needs other duties as Youll Need:High school diploma or equivalent of 2 years of experience in precision machining or a related manufacturing environment preferred.
