Job Summary
Kenton County Golf Course located in Independence KY is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Guest Service Attendant! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
- Prepares and cleans golf carts for play following the standards of Kenton County Golf Course
- Performs range maintenance including setting up and maintaining range and chipping green presentation maintaining range ball inventory picking up range balls and cleaning them
- Maintains the cart staging area in a neat and orderly fashion including the podium and bag drop area
- Provides sincere and courteous service to all guests with items such as bag handling and club cleaning
- Maintains the cart storage area and cart washdown area in a neat clean and orderly condition
- May direct the start of play which includes assisting in educating players regarding course policy current cart policy speed of play and similar guidelines
- Cleans golfers clubs upon completion of play
- Completes daily project list
- Assists in the setup and execution of golf tournaments and outings
- Services customers renting golf clubs and cleans rental clubs upon return; maintains accurate records of golfers renting clubs
- Assists with the overall upkeep of the clubhouse cart storage area and parking lot
- Assists with food and beverage activities
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
- Maintains regular and reliable attendance
- Performs other duties as required
- Frequently stands walks uses hands talks or hears
- Occasionally sits climbs balances stoops kneels crawls or crouches
- Regularly lifts up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds
- Regularly works in wet or humid conditions (non-weather)
- Occasionally works in areas with moving mechanical parts; may come into contact with fumes or airborne particles or toxic or caustic chemicals
- Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions
