Guest Relations Coordinator


Description of Position

The Guest Relations Coordinator is a full-time non-exempt 12-month FTE position. The position is a member of the Traditional Undergraduate Enrollment Team. This position ensures the highest quality visits for all prospective students and families. The Guest Relations Coordinator also provides office support and administration.

Essential Functions

  • Ensures that every guest that visits the NNU campus is greeted enthusiastically provided with a top-notch VIP guest experience and leaves the campus having had a positive experience with the university.
  • Coordinates all campus visit registrations via the Admissions CRM system (Slate) and NNU website.
  • Oversees and manages all campus visits including scheduling admissions counselors financial aid tour guides and other faculty staff and students as needed.
  • Communicates with visiting families before and following their campus visit.
  • Maintains materials handouts etc. for visitors
  • Keeps accurate records of visits in NNUs constituent relationship management - Slate
  • Assists admissions team and student workers in maintaining the appearance of all admissions spaces and display areas and keeping areas stocked with brochures T-shirts applications drinks etc.
  • Manages the storage areas. Responsible for ordering and stocking office supplies.
  • Works with the Assistant Director of Hospitality helping with group visits and campus events.
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Sufficient skills knowledge and training to perform the essential functions of this position
  • Applicant must be a Christian in agreement with NNUs mission and lifestyle standards
  • High motivation and commitment to the University including the ability to self-start be calm under pressure meet deadlines work without direct supervision be able to multi-task problem-solve and relate to a variety of personalities under diverse circumstances
  • Strong Communication skills both oral and written
  • Ability to maintain confidential information and files
  • Outgoing personality and able to comfortably interact with new people in a pleasant manner
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-focused
  • A team player
  • Ability to represent NNU in a positive professional manner
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Computer skills including Word processing and data entry
  • Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record; must be willing to participate in NNUs drivers training course in order to qualify to drive NNU vehicles
  • Flexible schedule to accommodate occasional evening and weekend activities including picking up visitors at the Boise airport.
  • Ability to view a computer screen for extended periods of time
  • Ability to work while sitting standing and/or walking for extended periods of time


Additional Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Spanish speaking
  • Current knowledge of NNU including familiarity with classes and professors is a plus


Compensation

Salary will be determined by the educational background and experience of each applicant.
