Growing Well Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider (NPPA)

Primary Purpose
Why Growing Well At Growing Well you will have the opportunity to do more than provide care. You will help change what access to developmental care looks like for children and families in rural communities. Growing Well is an expansive and nurturing network of programs dedicated to fostering the holistic development of youth and families throughout the High Country. As the full-time medical provider for the Growing Well Clinic you will help fill a critical gap in rural healthcare by providing timely developmental evaluation diagnosis treatment planning and family support for children who may otherwise face barriers to accessing care. Working alongside an interdisciplinary team of therapists family navigators social workers students and other professionals you will help connect children and families to the services they needclose to home and within one coordinated family-centered setting. This is an opportunity to practice meaningful pediatric medicine with 68 clients per day no on-call responsibilities no weekends and holidays off while also continuing to grow professionally through a significant investment in paid professional development (roughly $20000 in earmarked funds .

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
This role will practice alongside an interdisciplinary team have the time and resources to focus on meaningful patient care and help build a model that brings specialized developmental services closer to the families who need them most. Key responsibilities include: Provide direct medical care based on Growing Well guidelines and protocols Provide leadership for developmental screenings assessments and treatment planning and support and guide allied health providers involved in the care of children with or at risk for developmental delays. Oversee the high-risk infant follow-up program ensuring timely developmental monitoring and intervention referrals. Ensure the use of evidence-based tools for screening and diagnosing autism spectrum disorder cerebral palsy and other developmental conditions. Collaborate with therapists family navigators students and social workers to ensure cohesive family-centered care. Work with the Medical Director to maintain clinical protocols and quality standards for developmental services. Participate in strategic planning to expand and improve program offerings. Maintain knowledge in evidence-based practices related to Growing Well Clinic Protocols Provide training and share resources to other professionals or programs as part of a potential statewide expansion of Growing Well Lead case conferences

Minimum Qualifications
2 years of experience as a pediatric nurse practitioner or pediatric physician assistant ( PNP or PA).

Preferred Qualifications
5 years of experience as a pediatric nurse practitioner or pediatric physician assistant ( PNP or PA). 1 year of experience in developmental pediatrics.
