-Position: Group Coordinator Lead - Inventory Control Clerk

-Shift: Monday Thursday 4:00 pm 2:00 am

-Pay: $21.75 per hour. 1.00 Shift Diff

In addition to the general job description below the ideal will also have the following skills: Supply Chain Auditing Shipping Logistics.

A minimum of (1) one years experience in the following:

-Prioritizing scheduling and planning tasks for assigned department including cycle counting and also adjustments.

-Coordinating tasks and schedules across all departments including inbounds Inventory Control.

-Experience using a commercial WMS (warehouse management system) such as Blue Yonder Red Prairie JDA SAP etc.

-Microsoft Office software including Excel is required.

-This is a hands-on role that is spent most of shift out on the warehouse floor and moving to and from multiple areas of the building to include extended period of standing and walking.

Role Purpose:

Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory by verifying all orders received and shipped

Assigns work schedules trains associates in processes and monitors associates progress

Key Accountabilities:

  • Perform the duties of an inventory control clerk.
  • Conduct training for new associates.
  • Assist in physical inventories.
  • Monitor performance of associates within the work group.
  • Report unsafe conditions to supervisor if they cannot be self-corrected.
  • Communicate work practices procedures and methods to associates as required.
  • Ensure accurate accounting of and disposition of all defective or damaged product.

Required Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • 6 months warehousing and inventory experience
  • Working knowledge of SAP inventory system
