    To maintain clean and beautiful grounds for all District Buildings.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    1. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
    2. Valid Arizona drivers license
    3. Must pass a background clearance
    4. Must obtain an Arizona IVP Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card
    5. Experience with computers such as email and work order systems
    6. Knowledge of hand and power tools
    7. Must have five years of experience in landscape and sprinkler systems
    8. Read and understand blue prints and closeout books
    9. Must be able to work outside in Arizona weather conditions


    TERM OF EMPLOYMENT: 261 Days; 12 Months
    COMPENSATION:Per QCUSD salary schedule for applicable position
    BENEFITS: As per QCUSD District policy
    REPORTS TO: Director of Building Operations
    HOURS: 40 hours per week Monday - Friday 5:00 am - 1:30pm
    CLASSIFICATION: Hourly Non-exempt

    PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the following:

    1. Performs the planting trimming watering fertilizing and care of the lawn to all district sites.
    2. Responsible for routine maintenance on the drip system sprinkler system and irrigation time clocks.
    3. Needs to be able to repair timers control valves sprinkler heads pumps etc.
    4. Be able to operate lawn mowers weed eaters trimmer blowers tractors with their attachments and pull trailers.
    5. Needs to know the basics of designing an irrigation system and explain how it works.
    6. Takes care of the lining sports field for football baseball and soccer.
    7. Makes sure that all district sites have well maintained grounds.
    8. Being flexible
    9. Performs other job-related duties as assigned to advance district priorities.
