Main responsibilities:
- Assist the Grocery Manager in directing operations of the Grocery Department (including Frozen Dairy & Liquor/Beer).
- Supervise and train department personnel.
- Perform ordering receiving storing pricing stocking and merchandising duties.
- Implement company merchandising policies and ensure compliance with sanitation safety and security standards.
- Handle customer relations and resolve complaints effectively.
- Control shrink and prevent sale of out-of-code products.
- Open and close the store; act as Person in Charge in absence of Store Director and Grocery Manager.
- Prepare to-do lists for night stockers and manage price changes.
- Ensure proper accounting of sales and cash register details.
- Implement emergency procedures for equipment or software malfunctions.

- Operate cash registers scanning equipment and ordering systems.
- Implement emergency procedures.
- Lift and maneuver objects up to 80 lbs; operate carts and pallet jacks.
- Work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
