Catholic Charities Foundation (CCF) is the fundraising arm of Catholic Community Services of Western Washington. Every year we raise millions of dollars through our fundraising and donor cultivation. These donations power the programs of CCS/AHA throughout Western Washington.
How YOU can make a difference
The Grant Writer is responsible for raising $in new private foundation and corporate funding. You will partner with the CCSWW Grants Team and cross-departmental staff to research write and manage proposals that support vulnerable populations. You must be an independent problem-solver capable of data-driven storytelling visually impactful proposal design and meeting firm deadlines.
Responsibilities
- Grant Administration: Manage the grants calendar track deadlines and process correspondence (acknowledgments queries cover letters).
- Research & Writing: Identify new funding prospects and draft compelling proposals LOIs and interim/final reports.
- Data Visualization: Create visually persuasive graphs charts and budgets within proposals using Microsoft Excel.
- Documentation: Maintain grant files and track funder relationships in Raisers Edge NXT.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelors degree and 2 years of grant writing and project management experience.
- Proven track record in fund development from foundation and corporate grant development (preferred).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel (creating budgets charts and data analysis).
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Experience with Blackbauds Raisers Edge NXT database (preferred).
- Passion for community impact and the ability to thrive under pressure.

This is a Full-time 40-hour position starting at $35.75 - $39.77/hr. (D.O.E) witha competitive benefits package:
