We are currently seeking a dedicated and accomplished Grant Analyst for the Hudson Tunnel Project (HTP). This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to contribute to this landmark project that is poised to deliver transformative impacts across economic transportation and environmental sustainability.

The busiest rail connection between New York New Jersey and the Northeast Corridor the Hudson Tunnel Project will improve capacity reliability and resiliency of commuter and intercity rail transit serving 800000 daily passengers from Washington D.C. to New York and New England. This is a milestone project that is slated to receive nearly $12 billion in federal funding the largest investment in a mass transit project in modern history.

Responsibilities

  • Research grant opportunities prepare grant applications and manage the grant award process for the federally funded tunnel project.
  • Ensure compliance with grant requirements regulations and reporting obligations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Monitor grant budgets expenditures and financial performance to ensure alignment with grant guidelines and project goals.
  • Collaborate with project managers finance teams and grant administrators to streamline grant processes and maximize funding utilization.
  • Prepare accurate and timely grant reports financial statements and documentation for submission to funding agencies.
  • Conduct financial analysis grant forecasting and risk assessment to optimize grant funding and budget management.
  • Coordinate with auditors grantors and internal stakeholders to facilitate grant audits and ensure transparency and accountability in grant-related activities.
  • Stay informed about federal grant regulations funding trends and compliance requirements to guide decision-making and strategy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance Business Administration or related field; Masters degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in grant management financial analysis or related roles preferably in federally funded projects.
  • Strong knowledge of federal grant regulations compliance standards and reporting requirements.
  • Excellent analytical problem-solving and financial management skills.
  • Proficiency in financial software grant management systems and Microsoft Excel.
  • Communication teamwork and project management abilities

The estimated starting salary for this position is $140k. Starting salary may vary based on permissible non-discriminatory factors such as experience skills and qualifications.
