Sacred Heart Universitys Davis & Henley College of Nursing (DHCON) invites applications for a 12-month visiting faculty appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor with primary teaching responsibilities in the online Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN-FNP) program and post-masters certificate programs including the Post-MSN Family Nurse Practitioner appointment offers the opportunity to bring your current FNP clinical experience into graduate nursing education through teaching and semester-based student advising. The position is remote with required travel to campus at least twice annually and as requested by the department successful candidate will contribute to a college environment grounded in mutual respect and collegiality value the Universitys Catholic identity tradition and spirit and support its commitments to community service strategic planning and the intellectual and ethical development of all :Teach in the online Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program and associated post-masters certificate to the development and continuous improvement of courses curricula and academic programs including assessment of student student advising each current FNP clinical to an inclusive collaborative and collegial academic and clinical environment that supports student learning respects diverse perspectives and upholds professional and academic to campus at least twice per year and as requested by the department :Earned doctorate in RN and APRN board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP); Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification least two years of FNP experience and current FNP clinical online graduate teaching of leading an academic team and meeting accreditation and academic nurse practitioner experience in curriculum development and program administration Instructions:Qualified applicants are invited to submit the following materials through Sacred Heart Universitys online application portal:A letter of application outlining relevant qualifications experience and interest in the of teaching of research formal letters of recommendation on professional letterhead and an official transcript reflecting the highest conferred degree will be required upon offer of employment.
