CLOVIS UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICTPOSITION DESCRIPTIONPosition:Classroom TeacherFLSA:ExemptReports To:Site PrincipalPay Grade:Certificated Salary ScheduleSUMMARYTo help students learn subject matter and/or skills that will contribute to their development as mature able and responsible TYPES OF DUTIES (Examples)Seeks to reach District standards as established in the designated curricular areas as adopted by the Governing Board as they relate to all pupils for which the teacher is directly co-curricular and/or adjunct duties as assigned by the Governing Board Superintendent and/or other designated proper disciplinary control of pupils which are directly assigned and secondarily maintains proper control of all pupils in the Clovis Unified School District. Teachers shall enforce all rules governing the conduct of pupils as such rules may be prescribed by the Education Code Title 5 The Governing Board and the District and school a suitable learning environment for the academic and social development of all students within the guidance as established by the Governing Board Superintendent and designated administrator adhering to the concept that the safety and welfare of our students is paramount at all :Must possess or be eligible for appropriate California classroom credential.

Must possess appropriate California public school teaching credential.
