Job Summary

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

  • Prepare documentation dock receipts bills of lading export declarations.
  • Prepares invoices based on military specifications
  • Track and trace cargo as necessary to insure proper movement and delivery and communicates to the end user.
  • Communicates with Transportation/Contracting Officers regarding shipment dispatch routing pricing and rates.
  • Research and keep up to date on military commend/control procurement processes and operational requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Strong working knowledge ofmilitary command/control procurement processes and operational requirements.
  • Excellent client service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Associates degree in related field
  • Minimum 4 years related experience
  • Minimum 3 years industry experience preferred
  • Military experience preferred especially in Military Logistics/Procurement

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Job may require extended sitting or standing use of standard office equipment
  • Job requires the ability to use vision adjust focus and work on a standard computer screen
  • Use of audio-visual equipment is required
  • Job may require presence on-site at the assigned work location
