Compensation: Base salary $90000.00 to $110000.00 plus annual performance bonus.

General Purpose:
The Golf Course Superintendent oversees the maintenance of the golf course and ensures that turf grass is repaired andmaintainedto established standards.
Essential Duties:
- Maintainchampionship quality greens tees fairwaysroughsand bunkers.
- AssisttheDirectorofAgronomyinpreparationandexecution ofthe annual golf course maintenance budget and capital plans.
- Supervises andassistsmaintenance staff in daily duties.
- Supervises the cultural practices involved in growing various turf grass.
- Keeprecords ofall chemical and fertilizer applications.
- Ensuresthat maintenance equipment is properlymaintained.
- Implements soundpurchasingprocedures utilizing preferred vendors when possible.
- Ensures all company policies and procedures arefollowedincluding compliance with government regulations.
- Ensures that they and all associates obtain proper training and/or licenses needed to perform job tasks safely and within city state and federal regulations.
- Addressesdirectlyall real or perceived environmental concerns.
- Ensures proper mixing calibration and application of all chemical/fertilizers used on the course.
- Manages department members that may include but is not limited to: Assistant Superintendent 2nd Assistant Superintendent Head Mechanic Environmental Technician Equipment Operator Foreman Greenskeeper and Irrigation Technician.
- Ensuresthat effective orientation and training are given to each new associate.
- Developandconductsongoing training programs.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree Associates degree or equivalent from college or technical school; or three to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; Degree preference in agronomy/horticulture/plant/soil science.
Physical Demands:

- Occasionally climbs balances stoops kneels crouches crawlstastesor smells.
- Regularlylifts upto 50 pounds.

- Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions.
- The noiselevel is moderate.
Certificates/Licenses:
- Valid Drivers License
- Pesticide Application Licenseor able to obtain within90 days.
Job Knowledge Skill and Ability Preferences:
- Ability to read and speak Englishis requiredtoperform the duties of the job ( associatesare required tocommunicate with English speaking customers or co-workers the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
