Job Summary
The Golf Course Superintendent oversees the grounds at the City owned Harrison Park Golf Course. This includes supervision over the facilities and grounds seasonal course auxiliaries and all course maintenance operations necessary to present quality golfing to all patrons. High School diploma or equivalent from a recognized educational institution. Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in golf course grounds (2) year certification to obtain all necessary spraying licenses within the probationary of irrigation principles and of Illinois Class D Drivers License (within 30 days of hire).State of Illinois Applicators License for Turfgrass and Ornamentals (within 30 days of hire).
Employees of the City must establish their principal residence within forty-five (45) miles of the City of Danville corporate limits within six (6) months following successful completion of their probationary period.
